Re: “Down in Thomasville: Sweet Grass Dairy Cheese Shop

A friend and I recently took a "Girlfriend Get-a-Way" weekend trip to Valdosta. On our little jaunt, we spent Saturday in the delightful town of Thomasville and we too, thoroughly enjoyed Sweet Grass Dairy...I sampled the Pimiento Cheese (made from the Thomasville Tomme) and cracker snack offering, while she chose the Baguette drizzled with Pecan Oil, Jassmane (another variety of their cheese) in all it's oozing, melted glory, topped with bits of sweet, green onion and crisp bacon crumbles....of course, we just "had" to taste what each other chose! This family owned shop was delightfully decorated with a rustic charm all it's own and the very knowledgeable staff suggested a "Riesling" to go along with our snack choices...another wonderful suggestion. We left happy and full, relaxed and ready for more adventures...talking about how "soon" we hoped to return so we could sample a bit more of the tasty offerings of Sweet Grass Dairy!
