Just be a human being and cycle courteously - did that ever occur to you?
Listen up, watitdew
I worked on the initial planning and community involvement for the Beltline, and I assure you - it was and is most certainly NOT just for cyclists. You're the one who should "fuck right off" with that kind of selfish, myopic view. The Beltline was developed for the ENTIRE community WITH the entire community's input. Have you ever taken the time to look at the original plans, mission statement and artists' renderings - all RIFE with runners, pedestrians and children? The Beltline is also filled with nodal parks and community centers. Are you suggesting anyone who is not on wheels should somehow levitate to those areas of the Beltline? And what are you going to do when they implement the light rail and you have to share with all the walkers getting on and off those trains?
You need to wise up - just because you can wield a camera and manage a recording does not give you the right to plan the community for the rest of us, and especially not for those of us who have actually put hard work into realizing the Beltline FOR ALL TO ENJOY.
