I don't get the sitting Dekalb board. Even if they win the injunction and win their "stay" on the board, their ability to lead will have been weakened even more. If they were inept and incompetent before this legal maneuver, their incompetence will only intensify.
I understand the legal challenge to the constitutionality of the law, but clearly this is more about them retaining power than any concern for the constitution and it's protections to board members.
Bottom line is that this board has a global vote of no-confidence. If they had any kind of ethics and self-accountability, they would simply step down.
Due to this greasefire, all dekalb county kids should be eligible to go to school in a neighboring county that is in good standing.
