Re: “Burden of proof

IQ: 070, License to Kill
Years ago when the Supremes wrote a decision that banned executing
mentally retarded murderers, a comedy group did a spoof of James
Bond, 007, License to kill. In the spoof, a pair of White lovers are
blissfully walking in a park when a Black man with a hammer attacked
them. A nearby White policeman rushed to aid of the couple and threatened
the Black attacker.

In the manner of James Bond, the Black attacker tells the policeman
he has a License to Kill issued by the US Supreme Court and "Could I
show you my card?"

The policeman agrees, carefully accepts the card, reads it and then
To the Black attacker: "Well I'll be. You're right."
To the White couple: "Sorry folks, he's got a License to Kill. Gotta go."
To the Black attacker: "Carry on. Sorry for the interruption."

And the cop ambles off as screams of terror waft throught the beautiful
Spring day.
This exaggerated but spot on spoof exposes the contempt so-called
'advocates for the mentally challenged' have for them, the victims,
society and the prison guards and fellow prisoners exposed to psycho
murderers who happen to be retarded. Most retarded people I've
met and/or worked with are peaceful; but, you advocate for people
with IQs of 70 and below, you advocate for lunacy and a real fear
of the retarded---most peaceful and some otherwise.

Clemency for the Guilty is Torture for the Innocent.
