Earl played drums at my wedding in Memphis. He threw together a makeshift band with guys that lived next door to me in Cooper Young. I remember asking him how much they would charge me to play at the rehearsal. He looked at the rest of the band and then said, "How 'bout a dollar thirty five?" And "Iz and the Ain'ts" played rockabilly for hours and that is exactly what they charged me and it was fantastic. Earl was an amazing person. I will miss him.
