I'm honestly not a fan of any of these designs. I'd personally like to see those funds used to extensively clean the area, rid it of that horrible urine smell, install more prominent lighting, and hire a cop or two to patrol the area to keep the homeless from setting up shop.
Did they have chili for more than seven minutes this year? Loved Chomp and Stomp back in the day, but it's been an absolute madhouse the last few years.
Nice to "meet" you, Wendy. My fiancee and I moved to Smyrna from downtown last month and like you, we absolutely love it here. You definitely hit the nail on the head regarding Smyrna restaurants - South City Kitchen and Eleanor's are gems, but we're desperate for more quality, local places to enjoy on the weekends. Anyway, great interview and perhaps we'll see you around one day.
