CREW is a Washington based organization funded by George Soros aimed at destroying political careers, primarily Republicans. Nathan Deal has been a favorite target of Crew for several years now. It all started after Nathan Deal decided to leave Congress and run for Governor in 2010. Before his decision to run for Governor became public, CREW filed an ethics complaint against Deal with the Democratic Controlled House of Representatives, who began an investigation against Congressman Deal.
Before the investigation was completed, Congressman Deal publicly announced he was running for Governor of Georgia, and resigned his congressional seat to come home and begin campaigning. At that point, Congressional rules stopped the incipient ethics investigation into Deal's activities. The CREW character assassin team went to work. Press releases falsely claimed Deal had quit congress to avoid a (democrat led) investigation into his actions. And throughout the campaign, CREW attacks dogged Deal. Democrats and Gay Rights groups quoted CREW's talking points incessantly, and if Republicans and the People of Georgia had paid them any attention, Roy Barnes would again be Governor today.
Now Deal is running for re-election, and CREW is at it again, trying to help Democrats in 2014, I guess.
I suggest we defund and repeal Obamacare, and that this guy, if he's not happy with Georgia's freebies, find a state with a program he would be happier with and move there.
Even the proponents of stricter background checks admit they would not have prevented Newtown. The guy who did the killings was prevented from purchasing guns. The system already in place worked. The only thing that would have prevented him from getting the gun was if private ownership of guns were outlawed. And doing that would require the US Constitution be amended.
I hope Michaux is not advocating the US Constitution be changed because of a billion dollar campaign Barack Obama and Bloomberg were able to put together because we have a President who has a longstanding position against guns in private hands. Every Marxist does, as a matter of fact.
