She said there wasn't another entrance? There were 2 others, one of which had no wait and maybe a 10-15 walk from Charles Allen
The Gorgeous Jr, you think that hasn't been a top priority? Its more of a city wide issue than GT. Every major city will have this problem, college students have things they want and are easy targets.
The issue is that no one wants to develop new shops and restaurants for the family scene next to a sex shop or strip club. Chesire Bridge and the area it connects to piedmont to the Varsity JR is stalled out, and just doesn't look modernized. Why not work at least to modernize the look around Chesire Bridge and add some Bars in? That way the existing places can stay and you target more of the adult clientele around it. There is a lot of potential space along the area, just look at all the vacant spaces around from the Car Wash and GrindHouse. I would say leave the existing places along Chesire Bridge as long as they can improve the look of the street and add more Bars / non Family restaurants. Another thing look at Peachtree in Buckhead, 10 years ago the city took out most of the bars for new redevelopment of retail and living. Look at where that is now, still mostly stalled and under construction. Would this be the case in Chesire Bridge, I mean just down the road at Sydney Marcus there is a stalled apartment construction project. Shouldn't those be finished first
