Looks like some people have never been to East Atlanta or Grant Park because it is far from "the ghetto". Read up on your history and you'd know these neighborhoods have changed over the past century and they will again. Hell, my (white) grandfather grew up in Grant Park! Some people are saving Atlanta's historic places, choosing not to commute/pollute in hellatious traffic, and walking more than they drive. It takes time and dedication to revitalize areas; that you aren't willing to do so is your right. Yet those of us who are doing this don't deserve to get shot on the street any more than you do driving 20 min to run to the Circle K at 10 pm in suburbia-hell. Just sayin.
