1. I'm without a doctorate or degree of any sort...didn't even finish high school as the USN said my GED was fine...Yet even I know how to do free research on people's backgrounds. That's not counting the many folks out there that make good money providing such info....and are damn good at finding it....which includes far more than a mugshot. Why the focus on just the mugshot and not the thousands of words of text describing the circumstances surrounding said mugshot? I'm wagering on vanity...as mugshots rarely give our best face....not concern over the actual reason it was on the net.
2. If I were researching a prospective employee...I would consider overcoming drug addiction a strong moral plus. Being honest and open about it even stronger.
I would consider paying hundreds of dollars to rid the net of just a mugshot...and/or being dishonest about ones past...to be a huge negative moral display.
Due to do the dew.
Legal fireworks? You don't say...bout time they took that useless ass law off the books....same as Sunday sales. Now....if someone in the capitol could get it through their skulls that Georgia loses millions of dollars weekly to other states that have casinos because of archaic, idiotic, laws that need repealing....we could be rolling the bones in Gwinnnet.
"The only thing that could make this proposition more ironic is the protracted battle that many Southwest Atlanta residents have been engaged in to keep Family Dollar from building any more stores in the 'hood."
"While Family Dollar certainly has its share of critics who feel the stores lower the residential property value and attract crime, there must be somebody shopping there, if only for the lack of other viable options. "
Now I'm not black...nor did I grow up in the hood. I've spent a few Friday evenings in Bankhead courts though..AS a 17 year old..I worked with a bunch of dudes that lived there. Partied in the Blue Fox too.
Although we weren't dirt ass poor....we weren't rich either. We are Cobb and Douglas county poor white trash going back generations. For the freaking life of me...I DO NOT understand what the hell problem the black community has with Dollar General or Family Dollar in their neighborhoods?
There was protests against the Dollar General built in the Six flags community...their point was the denigration the store would bring the neighborhood. Denigration? Really? The road it sits on is 95% apartments...Where were the protests against the 3 liqour stores on the same road? Or the check cashing places?
I've asked friends of mine that have grown up in the hood....II've asked the black lady that works at the Dollar General here in Mableton. If someone can explain the issue to me...I'd be thankful.
More proof that physical attraction is but one piece of the mind/body/spirit triangle.
On some fava beans and a nice chianti....Naw I'm shitting ya...a nice fat 16th.
