I am all for pastured animals if one must eat them, however, the real problem, not discussed often enough, is how chicken growers dispose of the waste product. That being, yes, chicken shit. It is the polluter of (and nearly killing off many) rivers and bays around the country. The Chesapeake Bay is dying off from all the algae growing on waste bacteria. It is now more polluted than it was in the 1970's - before we spent decades rehabing it. Would love to see further story on how the pollution/waste disposal would be solved in forward thinking grow farms.
