I have to agree with BetterIdeas. This was a horrible idea. Atlanta motorists need to yield to cyclist but not give up entire lanes. Traffic will back up on 10th Street and create a smog hotspot. Why not take up the parking spots on 10th street to make a bike lane? I live here and I'm ticked that my commute just became a few minutes longer so that a couple bikes every hour can ride on the street BY A PARK. They had already screwed up the lights on Monroe to where they hold regardless of pedestrians crossing or not, and that's backing up traffic on Monroe and 8th Street.
