Re: “In Your Dreams

As a new and upcoming photographer, I visited the Atlanta Photography Group and Gallery (a non-profit organization promoting photographic artwork) on Bennett Street in Brookhaven-Buckhead a couple of times and decided to become a member on yesterday. Membership has its privileges, right? I can't wait to play an active role in pursuing my photography gig. The gallery is in a great location--a couple of blocks from my job. Free parking. Free admission. Anything FREE, I'm there (SMILE). Just kidding. But it is in a great location. After vising the gallery, I can go shopping or out to eat at one of the many restaurants in the area. The ladies (Maria, Ashley, Polly, and intern Emily) were very helpful in answering the many questions I had about the gallery and how they could assist me in pursuing my photographs. I also had the opportunity to meet some of the members during my visit. I look forward to Atlanta Photography Group and Gallery's next non-juried show Push Pin, where I can display my work and see if I really and truly have "the eye" and talent for photography. Hopefully this will boost my confidence and learn more about how to get into the photography business in displaying my photographs.
