Re: “So you want to eat gluten-free in Atlanta?

Hi, Carlyn & commenters. I must add that unfortunately I have been glutened in many of the establishments listed here. I've been glutened in Ted's Montana Grill in Decatur, Jason's Deli & I think, but I do not know for sure, that I was glutened in R. Thomas'.
I went to Uncle Maddio's recently, but the gluten & "gluten-free" toppings all being on a shared open line scared me off, so I didn't try it. A correction to your description about Ted's- they do not have a gluten free kitchen; they even say so right at the top of their Gluten Free Menu.
Let's talk YEAH! Burger. ....YEAH! BURGER!! My go-to place in town. I dine regularly at both locations, their original Midtown West location on Howell Mill & their Va H'lands location & love it! Their burgers, chicken sandwiches, gf onion rings & jalapeno pimiento cheese are AWESOME! And they have a full bar w/gluten free beer.
Sally's Bakery - Fabulous!
YEAH! Burger & Sally's get A's in my book.
If Celiacs who are highly sensitive to cross contamination & trace elements of gluten have had successful experiences in other Atlanta restaurants, I'd love to hear about it!
