Fine art prints of the Clermont Hotel by Atlanta photographer Doug Sturgess:
If this is the same guy that did a review of LIPS Atlanta, I agree. That review was horrible. Lips is a fun place.
I'm really disappointed at Mr. Bostock's less than fair review of Lips Atlanta. It sounds as if he went into this with a bad attitude, focusing on anything negative he could think of.
Lips Atlanta is a very fun place to go with friends for an evening of drinks, dining and drag...all in a clean & smoke free environment. Not a smoke filled dirty bar but a place where you'd be proud to take your friends whether they're gay, straight or whatever. It's a great environment for the drag queens to have a steady job doing what they love to do in a beautiful, glitzy little palace. They do a fine job taking your drink orders and serving your dinner. My pork chop was delicious and the Mac & cheese was very tasty. It's not Ruth Chris so if you want that, go there. I do like the Wednesday & Thursday evenings better because there's only one seating so it's not as rushed and the drag performance is longer than on Friday & Saturday nights with. 2 performances. I'm looking forward to going to Sunday's gospel brunch.
If you want to have a great time in a space that Liberace would be proud of then make your reservations & go to Lips. Don't let Cliff's review bias you!
