I wonder if the Mr. Micheal Anderson who posted the two comments above is the same one who engaged in a flaming war with forum members of the site Regretsy, including yours truly, over a post featuring his "art". He also went over to another site that made a post on the same "art" piece, where he proceeded to cuss out the publisher of that blog.

I'm a photographer and lived there close to 8 years, I loved the place, but Robert Haywood was a nutcase, who allowed buildings to decay and crumble to the ground because of his miserly ways, his antics included fistfights with tenants and employees, blocking tenents from leaving with a backhoe, refusal to rent to blacks, seizing property that had no monetary value to him, living in a place with no heat because he was too cheap to pay for it.... tragic, the man could have lit cigars with hundred dollar bills but preferred to harass and hoard and waste. His son in law was a bigger son of a bitch yet, who hung on waiting for the old man to die.

I'm a photographer and I considered renting a studio at this place for quite a while.

But, I beg to differ that NY doesn't have something similair, albeit more chic. I would suggest they take a hint from the Watermill Center in New York's East Hampton.

They have a residency program to take note of mentioned here:
http://watermillcenter.org/programs

I really do hope Atlanta's creativity blossoms more every year.
