Grayson's website and FB page say "no tax money for abortion" not "no abortions", but perhaps if someone is completely fixated on abortion they see the words "no" and "abortion" in the same sentence and ignore the other words between them.<br>
<br>
Grayson is exploring running for a federal office, and the federal government first got involved in abortion with Roe v. Wade and federal funding for abortions. Getting the federal government OUT of abortion is what Grayson is interested in, there is no contradiction at all.

      <![CDATA[@Wesley The seat licenses will probably be more than $1,000 each but if they are only $1,000 each that would be fine by me. If you do not frequent City hotels then you are not paying any of the taxes for the stadium. Hotels are generally frequented by out of town people.

Exactly. Two things I've never seen mentioned in any story about this are the median BAC level of people involved in accidents and (especially) fatalities, and the percentage of accidents and fatalities that occur with a BAC of between .05 and .08 (and both also apply for the last reduction from .10 to .08).

      <![CDATA[@peachtreehillsvoter I think it is hard to argue that Atlanta (or any city with an NFL team) does not get some benefit from the team in the form of jobs, taxes, related revenue in the form of visitors spending money on hotels, restaurants, fuel, car or air travel.<br>
<br>
Benefits to the City are justification for the investment. I don't oppose an increased social safety net.
