      <![CDATA[A fascinating point often missed (not just by CL) is how many of those hipsters (and hell, even us normal folk) are settling down there and starting families. Relatively cheap housing (even during the boom), a walkable grid of streets (suitable for pram-pushing), a bevy of kid-friendly restaurants (check out the Holy Taco patio on an early Friday eve), sneaky-good schools (best-kept secret in the system) and a neighborly attitude in general make it a great place to put down some roots.
