Words cannot describe the euphoria I have for never having to go through a second security check after an international flight. The amount of time I've wasted in the past 10 years in that interminable line is enough for me to have written a 500-page novel.

"if two passengers arrive here on the same international flight, one staying in Atlanta and the other getting a connecting flight, at what point do they separate? "

The two would separate after customs.

No, having to recheck bags is much worse. It confuses and antagonizes visitors.

I'd gladly trade the ambience for a direct connection in the terminal to MARTA rail. Having to ride a bus back to the old terminal is just as inconvenient as having to recheck bags at Concourse E.
