Agree with nomnomnom but for one thing - must have ketchup for fries and "rangs." Mustard is indeed the more noble and useful of the two.

the key is to ask for something they don't have sitting around getting soggy all night, so i order them with cheese and no onions.

they're usually edible that way, but in no way preferable to real food.

Krystal fries their burgers on a grill, White Castle steam cooks the burgers in a bath of chopped onions. You take apart a Krystal burger, you can cleanly separate the patty from the bun.
