Because I'll just bet that if GDOT did make such a move, then all eyes would be on it. It can be pretty hard to call out the cronyism at City Hall when that same cronyism is practically a lifestyle at the Gold Dome, I would think.

It would be nice if our local media actually looked into this angle I've mentioned, but then again that would be like expecting pigs to fly.
