There's plenty of food love to be had at the Decatur Book Festival this weekend, and organizers say they've diversified the 2012 Cooking Track like never before. Sponsored by The Cook's Warehouse, this year will be a blend of the traditional and contemporary with presenters like author Sheri Castle, who will share ideas and recipes from her newest book: The New Southern Garden Cookbook: Enjoying the Best from Homegrown Gardens, Farmers’ Markets, Roadside Stands and CSA Farm Boxes, and famed Southern food writer John T. Edge, who will be on hand to share photographs and stories from his new book, The Truck Food Cookbook: 150 Recipes and Ramblings from America's Best Restaurants on Wheels.…

What: A boozy, two-day celebration of Prohibition Era cocktail culture
When: Sept. 1, noon-6 p.m.; Sun., Sept. 2, 2-6 p.m.
Where: Georgia World Congress Center
Why: Because it's 300,000 square ft. devoted to speakeasy culture, the roaring twenties, and needless to say, the drinks will be a'flowin'.
