A Portrait of Peachtree Street

Sure, Ponce has character. And Boulevard has grit and arboreal charm. But Peachtree has always been Atlanta’s Main Street. The world-famous thoroughfare is home to the city’s highs and lows, from guns shops and gold grill stores to government buildings and homeless shelters. CL Photo Editor Joeff Davis spent several days on the street and inside its buildings documenting Peachtree’s place in the city. Here’s what he found.
