A3C Hip-Hop Festival

October 11, 2012 - The Southeast's biggest hip-hop festival kicked off on Thursday at various venues around the city including Terminal West, Star Bar and Wonderroot, with The Masquerade acting as the festival's hub.

This gallery chronicles the Dungeon Family reunion show at the Star Bar, the b-boy breakdancing competition at The Masquerade, and the Killer Mike and GZA shows at Terminal West.

Deep-voiced sage/poet, Big Rube, started the Dungeon Family show with the classic lines: "Operating under the crooked American system too long..." and continued to do the classic "True Dat (Interlude)" from Outkast's first album Southerplayalisticadillacmuzik.
