The pride of Flushing, Queens, was born Arian Arslani, but most folks call him Action Bronson, aka Bronsolino. Making his way South in support of his latest album, Mr. Wonderful (Atlantic/Vice), Bronson is a hairy, burly man who raps about hairy, burly things. He’s got culinary skills, too. Bronson is often unfairly called out for a voice that sounds a bit too much like Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah, but influences are influences. This guy has plenty of his own character to flaunt when he takes the stage Wed., May 6.
