Adriana Mettler, born in today's Slovakia, grew up in Switzerland. Her passion for books and writing directed her professional endeavors. She became a librarian, was the co-founder and editor of a literary review magazine and worked as a news researcher/background writer for Swiss National Television. Her first novel Verschobene Grenzen ("Shifted Borders") was published in 2006, and her second book Verflochtene Zeiten ("Connected Times") followed in 2011.
