The Afghan Whigs at the Masquerade

October 22, 2012
October 20, 2012 - 2012 marks the 25th anniversary of the first time the Afghan Whigs took to the stage in 1987, 25 years after they broke up after the much successful release of their pinnacle 1965 album and tour. After a great reception to their two headlining reunion shows for All Tomorrows Parties in London and New York City, Afghan Whigs frontman Greg Dulli, decided to mount a full U.S. tour. Quickly selling out, they made a much anticipated stop at Atlanta's Masquerade.

Armed with original bassist John Curley, guitarist Rick McCollum, and a phenomenal back-up band, they tore through every possible fan favorite track from their catalogue, including Crime Scene Part One, Going to Town, Fountain & Fairfax, and Uptown Again.
