1) Nick Drake: “I’m astounded that he’s been dead for 35 years and his music is as fresh as any contemporary music you hear today. It’s automatically a good movie when one of his songs comes up in the score.”

2) urbandictionary.com: “Where else could I have found the word ‘whoregami’? I defy you to look that up and not laugh. Also, Brokeback Mountain fan site bettermost.net — my guilty pleasure. (OK: I fear that I’ll end up like Ennis Del Mar, and I find it comforting to know what the temperature is in Riverton, Wyo.)”

3) We Wish To Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed With Our Families by Philip Gourevitch: “A fascinating account of the politics of pre-genocide Rwanda. Heartbreaking.”

4) The plays of Canadian playwright Daniel MacIvor: “I have my friend Bob to thank for these. And all you other theaters ... keep your mitts off. Bob and I are doin’ em all.”

5) live365.com: “This site provides links to thousands of online radio stations and proves that Internet killed the video star.”
