The Art History Graduate Forum of Georgia State University is inviting various graduate students representing various disciplines from Georgia Tech, Emory, the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to present papers based on the theme of "Visual Culture and Politics." Papers span myriad time periods and subject matter, including Incan pottery vessels, photographic representations of architecture, articulations of blackness in literature, early modern bibles, and the works of Islamic artist Lalla Essaydi, to name a few. We hope you will join us.
