In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, StoryCorps Atlanta and the Asian Pacific Historical Society are hosting an afternoon of stories from Atlanta’s Asian American community. The event will feature recordings by Asian Americans in Atlanta recorded at StoryCorps Atlanta and aired on WABE 90.1. Stories include CNN’s Sachi Koto talking about being called names when growing up in Stone Mountain, Georgia and the AJC’s Rodney Ho talking to his wife about their experiences growing up. In addition to listening to stories, audience members will learn how to preserve their own family stories, photos, and documents.
