Wabi Sabi opened with a performance by Yoomi Kim choreographed by John Welker on the Crape Myrtle Path to the Great Lawn.

The music included a street soundscape from Seoul, South Korea.

The next group of performances moved to the Aquatic Plant Pond area at the back of the Garden grounds. The crowd sat on the steps and watched the performances.

The third performance location was on the Great Lawn at the Botanical Garden, there a group of dancers performed "Inra Lobus Temporalis," with choreography by Michael Smith.

The final performances took place on the Great Lawn near the Reflection Pond, during sunset Nadia Mara and Jonah Hooper performed the romantic "En route."
