Atlanta Hawks vs. L.A. Lakers

March 9, 2011
In January 2004, the Hawks lost by 46 points to the Los Angeles Lakers (113-67). It wasn't that bad Tuesday night, but it wasn't much better. The Hawks were out-rebounded, out-scored and out-classed. In an arena that felt more filled with Laker fans than locals, the Hawks turned in an uninspired and downright boring performance against the world champions losing 101-87. If the Hawks can't get up for a game against Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest and friends, we should expect no less than a first-round exit once playoff time comes.

Laker fans outnumbered Hawk fans. This was especially apparent when chants of "MVP" filled Philips Arena as Kobe Bryant took to the line to shoot free throws.
