Thirty-seven chefs. Twelve mixologists. Zero George Clooneys. The Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival may have little to do with the B-movie series from which it takes its name, but the fest does share a focus on the red-skinned plant. It's a culinary cross-collaboration, joining people at every stage of a tomato's growth. Held by JCT Kitchen & Bar on Sun., July 22, from 1-5 p.m., the afternoon-long event features live music from Five Bone Rack — a "local chef band" — and the partnering of chefs and local farmers to produce distinct, tomato-y dishes. All efforts benefit Georgia Organics.
