Atlanta coffee was nothing but perked dishwater until Aurora Coffee opened in 1992. The Little Five Points location wasn't designed as a cozy hangout. Since the folks who own Criminal Records took over, however, the cool-slacker service has gotten friendlier and there is Wi-Fi. The quality of the brew — Aurora's blend of beans from Batdorf & Bronson's Atlanta roastery — is exceptional. Food is limited to excellent fresh pastries.
