Autumn Wildflowers & Tree Colors Walk/JFN

When: Wed., Nov. 2, 12:30 & 2:30 p.m. 2011
Phone: 678-538-1200

Enjoy spring wildflowers, wildlife, and learn more of the area’s natural and cultural history by joining the National Park Service for a leisurely hike along this fairly level trail, which passes by several types of important river bottomland wetlands and returns along the river. This area is a designated National Wildlife Viewing Area. It’s hard to imagine this area under cultivation. Yet that was the case for perhaps centuries. Today we view mostly the marvels of nature including autumn wildflowers, ferns, and tree colors.
