On Sat., March 30, Dad's Garage will once again host BaconFest, a popular festival that celebrates the three B's: beer, bands, and, of course, bacon. The fest also acts as a fundraiser for Dad's Garage, so not only will the cost of admission go toward filling your belly, it will also support one of Atlanta's favorite nonprofits. In addition to the bacon, supplied by the Vortex and D.B.A. Barbecue, and the beer from PBR and Grolsch, there will also be two whole hogs, silent action, and tons of great entertainment, from a drunken spelling bee to the crowning of Bacon King and Queen. The Dirt Poets, Mike LaSage and the Stumbling Troubadours, the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable, and DJ Baby Courageous will all provide music for the day. Hell, Kevin Bacon showed up last year, so you never know what to expect.
