Shmaltz and Terrapin breweries are joining forces for a
charity night benefitting the Institute for Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research at Cypress Street Pint and Plate's weekly Beer Geek Tuesday.
For this Tuesday evening only, both breweries will bring in their own
special versions of the 2011 Reunion Collaboration draft beer, a dark
imperial ale with cocoa nibs, vanilla, and chili peppers, brewed in
signature Terrapin and Shmaltz fashion. All proceeds of either Reunion
beer sold will be given directly to the Institute for Myeloma and Bone
Cancer Research. To compliment the Reunion drafts, executive chef
Richard Silvey will create a special pairing for the evening,
including asiago and basil stuffed pork chop over a sweet corn and
edamame succotash. Terrapin and Shmaltz will also be giving away
goodies from their breweries, including specialty glassware.
