It’s officially low county boil season! For the first time ever, Old Fourth Ward will play host to the Beltline Boil, a new festival that features local restaurants One Midtown Kitchen, Two Urban Licks, 4th & Swift, and more going head-to-head in a two-day cook-off. The winner gets to donate $5,000 to a charity of its choice. For attendees, the event offers a perfect excuse to chow down on some crawfish, imbibe some Bloody Marys, and walk it off with a leisurely saunter down the Atlanta Beltline. It’s worth noting: A parent or guardian must tag along with attendees younger than 18 and tickets are required for guests age 15 or older. The event takes place Sat.-Sun., April 5-6, at the Fourth Ward Skate Park.
