Best Antiques Store to Withstand Smoke, Flood and Flame 

It was with the utmost panic that antique enthusiasts who really can't afford to be antique enthusiasts received the news this summer of a fire raging through a Cheshire Bridge antique mall. Not Cache! Yet the merchandise was mercifully spared. (Other shops in the strip of antique stores weren't so fortunate.) Cache has relocated the bulk of its dozens of vendors to Tara Antiques just up the road. You can now go to Tara for more of both Tara's and the former Cache's famously fabulous deals, from turn-of-the-century and shabby chic to art deco and Eames era treasures.
