Best Appetizers

Chef Michael Tuohy's California-inspired cuisine is all about the joyful dance of the season's flavors. Nowhere does that come through more strongly on his ever-evolving menu at WOODFIRE GRILL than in the appetizers. Divided into "tastes" and "small plates," a recent meal included summer-sweet corn soup with basil and roasted pepper puree; a plate of flash-fried squash blossoms stuffed with mild goat cheese and served with a roasted beet emulsion; and local peaches wrapped in prosciutto with blue cheese and fig puree. These dreamy dishes will be long gone by the time you read this, but swing by soon and see what new beauties Tuohy has whipped up.
