From seat-of-the-pants magazine publisher to free-falling art space to recording studio -- when will it stop? Bluemilk founders Chris Hansen and Chris Kowalski have closed their Paradigm ArtSpace for the fall to concentrate on securing nonprofit status (a contagious pursuit among alternative art collectives this year) for their new Prudenia project. Now they want to record music and create a multi-media museum. As Chris Kowalski noted in CL in August, "We've been in kind of a creative chaos over here for, oh, three years. Good luck getting focused, guys.
