Pubs in Atlanta have been increasingly devoted to providing decent food as well as booze. Now we have an out-and-out gastropub, TAP, another project of Bob Amicks Concentrics Restaurants. Chef Todd Ginsburg offers a menu of small plates that includes buffalo-style fried calamari, pozole, and toast with chocolate and chorizo. If you want more than grazing fare, there are six entrees, such as roasted scallops with minestrone, and organic chicken and artichoke stew. The decor yet another Johnson Studio project highlights brewery hardware, and features a red deer that demonically overlooks the scene. Good beer selection, too.
