We have seen (and tasted) the future of bar food, and it's being served at HALO LOUNGE.
Chef Stephan Leed's outre creations outdo any other offerings being served in a dark, smoky room in town. Just the descriptions alone are enough to pique interest: truffled mac and cheese, collard greens with vanilla vinegar and the Bad Ass cheese plate are just a few. Food is served 5-10 p.m., before the swank crowds start to fill the even swankier space. Come early one night and check it out. One question, though: Do we really have to pay $4 to taste "Stephan's salty nuts"?
