None of Atlanta's current film festivals captures the standing-room-only sense of "event" with the scale of the handsomely funded Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. The subject matter seldom feels too niche-oriented, and the selection spans from prestigious Holocaust-themed film The Round-Up to the quirky, cutting-edge music documentary The "Socalled" Movie to indie comedy Peep World, featuring Sarah Silverman and Rainn Wilson. In 2011, the 11th annual festival presented 60 films over three weeks at venues all over town. Come festival time, it's easy to find — just follow the spotlights. ajff.org.
