The screenings of the PEACHTREE FILM SOCIETY
have given Atlantans their first look at such acclaimed cult flicks as Donnie Darko
and controversial works like The Believer
, which other theaters have shied away from. This year it gets special credit for its programs of Oscar-winning and nominated shorts, which provided two chances to see "The Accountant" after native son Ray McKinnon won the Best Short Film statuette for it.
