Who knew that when SMKA Productions released its debut mixtape, THE 808 EXPERIENCE: VOL. 1 , in December ’08 that it would mark the first wave of the crew's aural assault on Atlanta. Maybe their moniker, Super Market Knife Attack, should've been a dead giveaway. Executive-produced by natives 808 Blake, 7 King and Mike Walbert, The 808 Experience marked a marriage between the Old South's affinity for 808 bass and the New South's retro-ATLien craze.
