Eyedrum Music & Art Gallery

290 MLK Jr. Drive

From electronica (Hazzard) to noise (John Duncan), from free jazz (Ken Vandermark) to avant rock (Two Dollar Guitar), Eyedrum has fearlessly proved its commitment to diversity, putting its proverbial money where its mouth is. Its real strength, however, is the atmosphere of comfort it emits. Very little attitude and rarely crowded events make this a nice escape from the usual scenester hangout. Couches and dim lighting help out, too. The artists/members who run the artspace love their work and it shows, as they put everything they can back into it.
