Best Outdoor Music Venue

Chastain Park Amphitheater

4469 Stella Drive

Want live tunes with your wine and your four-course, candle-lit Eatzi's take-out? This tree-lined, under-the-stars venue has wide aisles and ample parking -- plus, it's pretty much the only game in town. Chastain can be frustrating, with its strict 11 p.m. lights-out, tiny video screens, often less-than-rapt audience and frustrating volume limit, but its lineup of classical, R&B, jazz, C&W, pop and even some rock is often first-rate. It's no Red Rocks, but it's better than the alternative (HiFi Buys), and if you can snag a seat up close from a no-show, it helps the experience.
