Atlanta is blessed with a wide range of pizzerias, from Chicago-style deep dish to the razor-thin, New York-style crust, and, more to the point, the fancy-pants gourmet style thats still all the rage. Within this genre, we confess to falling truly, madly, deeply in love with Midtowns BARAONDA. Baraonda takes the concept of the Neapolitan-style pizza to another level, spoiling us with crisp crusts and prodigious toppings. (A recent lunch pie was completely covered by a garden of arugula.) The wood-burning oven puts a perfect spin on these pizzas, which rarely, if ever, burden the stomach.
