Best Place to Gnaw on a Rib Bone and Dig on Some Blues

In 1990, former Georgia-Pacific lumber salesman Matt Harper opened FAT MATT'S RIB SHACK at a location that was once a Dunkin' Donuts. Since then, seven nights a week, Fat Matt's has been serving cold beer, hot pig meat and heaping helpings of live local blues, both for townies and the conventioneers who stop in for a slice of Southern culture. For some musicians (e.g., Sean Costello), it's been a launching pad. For others, a fun, dependable gig. In any case, it's one of a kind.
